Founded in 2003 by Idit and Michael Alfasi, Odem Mountain Winery came into being from a love of wine and a desire for joint creation with the Golan's next generation. Adam Alfasi, the son of Idit and Michael, has served as the winemaker since the establishment of the winery. The winery is located in the heart of a thick oak forest at the foot of Mount Odem. Our aspiration for excellence is evident in the creation of quality wines supported by some of the finest vineyard plots with basaltic soil on the slopes of Mount Hermonit in the northern Golan at an altitude of 1180 meters. This area enjoys ideal climatic conditions for the production of quality wines. Impressive and welcoming, the visitors center plays an important part in the winery's mission of instilling wine culture among visitors to the Golan.
